Things to do in Mallorca

Have a leisurely coffee in one of the many open air cafes in the beautiful Placa Constitucio, while waiting to catch the old wooden tram down to the stunning Port Soller with its sandy beach.

Take one of the many trails up into the mountains, for long or short treks, by foot or bicycle. If you want a guide to tour the mountains then our friends at Tramuntana Tours are always around to help.

If you are walking in Soller they can not only guide, but provide you with all the equipment you might need. Cycling in Soller is equally well provided for with different routes and a good range of bikes to choose from.

Visit the nearby villages of Fornalutx (once voted Mallorca’s most beautiful village) or Deia, where you can sit and picnic overlooking the sea.

Take the old wooden train into Palma via the amazing orange tree valleys, with spectacular scenery. Eat Tapas in one of the many great tapas bars along the old town of Palma near to the amazing Cathedral.

For those who love golf, you will find the nearby Golf Son Termens en route to Valdemossa, so after a game you can visit the village and experience what Chopin loved about the area.

If you would rather do something more energetic than lie on the sandy beach at Port Soller, we have some great clay tennis courts and a huge, largely unused, clean swimming pool at Soller Tennis Club which is a 5 min cycle ride away.

Hire a car and explore the island, visit the caves of Del Drach in Porto Cristo, or the caves in Arta, which without doubt are spectacular, with lighting and dramatic music to match. The beautiful white sand of Es Trenc in the south-east, or nearer, the Torrent de Pareis.
